What type of person would listen to Russ Limbaugh?

The question is often asked, "What type of person would listen to Russ Limbaugh, and believe the lies and shilling for the Bush gang?
This is a fair question in light of the constant pattern of lying about facts that are well established in professional and informed circles in the United States and overseas, and known to anyone who makes a serious effort to get the facts that are readily available from reliable sources on the Internet.
The type of person who couldn't stand to listen to Limbaugh would be the person who is knowledgeable about the subjects Limbaugh distorts. This would include such subjects as the lies made to "justify" the invasion of Iraq; the torture of Iraqis by U.S. military personnel; the U.S. support and providing of weapons for Israel to inflict devastating harm upon the people of Lebanon, and virtually any action by President George W. Bush and his sidekicks, Condolezza (Bugs Bunny) Rice, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld and the other present and former White House coterie.
The type of person who could actually believe what Limbaugh constantly utters would be the ones who:
(a) Are pathetically uniformed about what really goes on in government and who never reads any of the books written by government insiders.
(b) They are possibly misinformed by the same general twisting of the facts as is common from such pundits as Bill O'Reilly and other like him. (They therefore have a partial excuse for not being able to see the truth.)
(c) They are too obsessed and occupied with sports and other trivia to be bothered with learning the true facts.
(d) Their loyalty is mistakenly to a political party that had been taken over by con artists rather than loyalty to the country.
Why does Limbaugh lie constantly in the face of overwhelming evidence and facts from professional and reliable sources? Could it be that Limbaugh:
* Is he one of the many people in the media secretly paid by the CIA or other government office.
* Is he hired to shill for the party in power, and therefore willing to subvert national interests for a buck?
* His employer may be in the secret payroll of the CIA or other government office and hires Limbaugh only as long as he follows their wishes to protect the Bush administration or the interests of Israel.
* He surely isn't so dumb as to believe his own statements.

Way to go Suzanne... I am 36 with MS and hoping that stem cell research will find a cure. I know there are days that I can hardly function. If I'm under to much stress my brain simple shuts down. Maybe I can use his pain relief..I'll just bring illegal drugs into the country. Your awesome Thanks for caring!!!!

I was horrified to hear Russ Limbaugh's comments or better yet to watch him imitate MJFox. How disrespectful can this man get. How anyone could listen to him go on about a disease that is so detrimental to so many. Obviously Mr. Limbaugh doesn't have a family member that has a disease that stem cell research may help cause a cure. But its ok for him to travel between countries with narcotic drugs. What a joke. Will he change his point of view if a family gets the disease. I have MS and know that I can have been real shaky on one day and feel ok the next. Leave Michael J Fox alone live one day in his shoes...or maybe we can just get you oxicontin and the pain would go away.

Russ Limbaugh has been spouting that he is a true conservative.Well, having been in Arizona for the past month, I have to admit that I will no longer claim to be one. They represent a hateful,prejudiced,elitist group. Hopefully McCain gets the Republican nomination and the likes of pompous ass Limbaugh can go away and take his ilk with him. The Conservatives that he espouses to be aligned with are of the Nazi mind set. America be aware of this kind of person who defines "conservative" as his way or no way. There is no room in this country for the likes of him. Get him out of the Republican party.

Limbaugh is a shame to this country and what it stands for, we're are still struggling to get past our horrible racial divide, but with scumbags like Limbaugh playing into the emotions of a diminishing middle class due to the incompetence of an administration they support it only contributes to pull us backwards.

I say this partially in gest and it should only be taken in context. I'll use the small "g"....god damn Russ Limbaugh. He secretly knew all along the truth of global warming, being as smart as he is, but also knew that more democrats live in low lying areas than their more well to do republicans. He believes that the more dead democrats, the more republicans will get elected. So I say, god damn Russ Limbaugh.

Russ is right on track. 100% American. the war on Irac was right. Saddam was the monster of all time. more than 500.000 men women & children murdered at his command. He attacted Kuwait causing thousands of deaths. when American & allies rescued Kuwait. Saddam gave orders to dump millions of gallons of oil in the gulf waters. and than had over 900 oil wells set on fire, the time was right to get rid of him & his sons.- It probably saved many thousands of lives in Iraq.

I have heard that Russ Limbaugh spent 7
years in Cananda duering the Vieti-Nam
war working as a disk jocky.
He did this to excape the draft of the war. If this is true and knowing this man, it sounds like something he would do,why is it not more out in the open?
Is he a traitor? If so how can he come back here and shoot off his mouth about anything?

I heard that there was some talk about Washington having a computer file that would have a patients medical information about themselves and Russ was up in arms about the government dictating to doctors on how to care for their clients. This isn't true the program is set up to give the doctor basic facts the they would use to aid in helping them. For example, medicines and medical problems that might interfere with an emergency situation. The program doesn't show how to operate or care for the client. It his or her medical school training and experience that rules that venue. I would like to have the medicines I'm on on this file in case of an emergency so the doctor can use his best judgement. In other words it is not a paint by number tutorial to have heart surgery. In a real sense the private insurance companies have the same background info on you me and all those people that have been or are on private insurance. The difference is the those that have been dropped by their carriers will have insurance through the government. Now the first thing that is considered when there is an emergency situation is if you have insurance. It is secondary to any health info that might be necessary to save your life. If one can't pay and one doesn't have coverage you might not get the attention you need regardless. If there was universal coverage one gets the attention to aid in their recovery and not the private insurance companies dictating to your doctor if you can be helped.

Mr. Limbaugh comes by his knowledge, as he was a disc jockey in thwe S.E. part of Missouri. As you all know he is full of himself and a blatant liar. If he is the spokesperson for the GOP, that's good for the Democrats. Maybe all the dope he has/is taking is making him a real moron.

I must defend Russ Limbaugh in one aspect: that of his non-military service status.
He was given a deferment to his draft ranking.
But one has to ask, what was that deferment for? What was the nature of his deferment?
Did any others who were in his family get similar draft deferments?
Russ worked as a disk jockey in various markets from the local area of origin to Sacrament California where his negative remarks got him publicity and the publicity got him a following.
One can ask what type of Republican is Russ Limbaugh?
Popular sources says he is Conservative. Popular sources say he speaks for the Republican party, that he embodies the best of the Republican party.
I would argue that Russ Limbaugh is not a Republican, but a Re:pubican. In other words, an individual who deftly places his patriotic hand, his right hand, over his public area and says, "We don't do that."
But whose personal ethics condones the personal use of Oxycontin, a listed drug of dependence, as well as the use of a sexual-impotence medication obtained under another, a false, name.
At least George W. Bush has had no publicity about illicit drugs and no illicit sexual liaisons while in the White house. But Russ does not have that benefit.
What an example to his father? I wonder if Russ learned his drug and sexual habits from his father. Does his father concur with his son's "habits?"
I feel sorry for the leader of the Re-pubican party, Russ Limbaugh. He simply has not learned that the most important things in life are establishing, maintaining and enhancing martial relations with one other person.
He will die rich with money but without a partner, man or woman, to grieve him.
May God have mercy on Russ Limbaugh and the haters of our times. May God bless the spirit of Abraham Lincoln and the lovers of all time.
May we learn not to pattern our lives after those who are mean-spirited and small even though they are tall and obese in physical stature.

SOLUTION TO THE ECONOMIC CRISIS
The Obama administration should immediately do the following:
USA population is 303,824,640 / ½ $150,000,000 million dollars not Trillion !!
Must be a legal USA citizen
A) Give every US citizen over 21 years old: $500,000
1) The first requirement is that they must pay off their home mortgage, if they are in default
2) Then they must pay off any credit card debt.
3) There would be a one time flat tax of 10%.
1) Most people would buy a new car: the car industry would resolve their own problems.
2) The baby boomers would actually be able to retire: thereby creating more jobs; thus unemployment would lower.
3) The retail business would benefit for years to come.
4) Wall Street would see a new source of investors; which would correct the market in months.
5) The housing industry would rebound immediately.
6) The Banks would be stabilized.
C) This direct stimulus to the People; for the People and by the People will resolve the economic crisis immediately. After all it will be the People who pay off the debts being created by this administration, and they should be the benefactors.
D) Get back to basics, let industries fail that need to fail, first law in economics: Supply & Demand.
This would be the most effective and fair Stimulus Plan and then we can only hope and pray that we never get ourselves into a mess like this again.
