America's Next Politician in the White House

America's Next Politician in the White House

As this is written in mid-2008, the following food-for-thoughts come to mind:

Senator John McCain:

  • A member of the infamous Keating-Five, that helped inflict nearly half a trillion dollars of debt on Americans (yet to be paid), by blocking investigation into the savings and loan criminality.

  • Still in bed with lobbyists, for which he exchanges political gifts.

  • Supported the serial lying by President George Bush and his shills, which have killed over 4,000 Americans; injured or maimed over 12,000 Americans; killed an estimated 100,000 to 800,000 Iranians (including infants and children); laid much of Iraq to waste; destabilized the Middle East; grew the world's greatest number of people wanting to kill Americans; inflicted several trillion in debt upon Americans that has yet to be paid.

  • Supports military action by the United States again Iran if Iran doesn't stop building a nuclear power site.

  • Supports Israel's occupation of Arab land, which was the root cause for the start of so-called "terrorist" charges against those people fighting to get the land back.

  • Supports Israel's threat to start a military conflict with Iran, despite the fact that Iran is surrounded by nation's with nuclear facilities; Israel has over 200 nuclear missiles (development assisted by secret support by U.S. politicians), and that Iran is a sovereign nation with the right to build a nuclear facility.

  • The start of World War III, with U.S. cities devastated by nuclear missiles could very well be participated by McCain's war mongering.

  • Showed a pathetic understanding of major issues. Lacks the judgment and intelligence to address the complex problems brought about by the Bush politicians.

  • Repeatedly contradicts himself or reverse his position to pander to special interests or the public.

  • Given the label of a war hero, when in fact he was shot down shortly after entering the Vietnam War and was a prisoner of war during most of the war. That makes him a hero? But then, with Americans calling professional ball players heroes, anyone qualifies for that title!

Senator Barack Obama:

  • Excellent rhetoric, and possibly he means it.

  • Lack of experience and maturity, having to decide complex issues facing the United States, which requires a highly experienced and mature statesman, none of which appeared on the ballots.

  • Tolerating the hate rhetoric of his church minister for years, hardly indicative of a person with the standards expected of a statesman and president of the United States.

  • Being heralded by America's political pundits (who have been so frequently wrong and biased), as a guru to lead the nation, despite Obama's lack of experience and immaturity as a statesman.

  • Having said this, Obama is far less likely to start a war as McCain would be apt to do. So, he is certainly the least dangerous of the two presidential candidates.

Major Voting Block:

Among those who voted to determine the Democratic presidential candidate, and who will vote to have him lead the nation as it is facing possibly the greatest multiple number of crisisses since the end of World War II, are the nation's young, who, as a group:

  • Don't do any in-depth reading of informational non-fiction books and reading material (it takes more energy to do that).

  • Obsessed with trivia.

  • Lower morals than at any time since the end of World War II.

  • Influenced by rhetoric, and ripe for con artists, just as Americans were who voted for George W. Bush the first time, and certainly, those who voted for him the second time. Experience would have shown the phony nature of the rhetoric by Bush.
