Israel's Massive Killing of Civilians In Gaza?

 Should Americans care about Israel's massive killing of civilians in Gaza? Or Palestine? or Lebanon? 

Using massive tanks, the most advanced fighter planes in the world, and sophisticated weapons designed to kill, Israel has used these methods to kill unarmed civilians in Gaza, As a result, in three days of attacks upon the mostly unarmed Gaza civilians, over 500 had been killed and nearly 2,000 injured. The brave men of Israel have killed and maimed thousands of mostly innocent victims, including women, children, and infants. These souls were no match against the overwhelming military might of Israel—and its enablers.

Under various criminal statutes, anyone who aids and comforts a person or thing committing criminal or violent acts against another becomes equally guilty, as a con-conspirator, and guilty of aiding and abetting the crimes. And those who know of these crimes and do nothing to stop them, also become accomplices, as a matter of criminal law.

Israel could not have perpetrated the latest attacks and killing of innocent civilians—or the earlier attacks on the people of Lebanon or the West Bank that was formerly a part of Transjordan—without the weapons supplied by the United States, the billions of U.S. taxpayers dollars, or support by U.S. politicians—and the people they represent, being the American people.

Using that analogy, the United States, its politicians, the people who support these acts, are similarly guilty of the brutalities inflicted upon the victims.

A few facts that people in the United States should consider concerning the aiding and abetting of Israel's conduct:

• Over 70 United Resolutions have been directed against Israel. (Do a google search: "UN resolutions against Israel.) U.S. politicians have refused to support the resolutions!
   
• A treaty between Israel and the people in the land that Israel seized in the 1967 war has been prevented by Israel demanding to retain certain of the Arab land it seized in that 1967 attack, including Jerusalem and certain areas of the West Bank. And refusal to return the property of Arabs in Israel that was seized by Israel.
   
• Israel−and its many shills in the United States−including Congress, such as Senator Lieberman among many others, argue that its killing and maiming of thousands of civilians is justified because the Hamas group in Gaza fired rockets into Israel. This group is attacking Israel for having invaded Arab land, brutalizing its citizens, and refusing to leave, building permanent settlements showing they intend to permanently keep the land. The Hamas group is doing what Americans would do if Mexico seized part of the United States, brutalized the people in the seized area, and refused to leave. Those who fight the invading Israel forces are called terrorists. Therefore, people that attacked the British in the 1700s were not patriots, but rather, terrorists, according to the spinners of history!

GAZA - Israeli tank shells killed at least 40 Palestinians on Tuesday at a U.N. school where civilians had taken shelter, medical officials said, in carnage likely to boost international pressure on Israel to halt a Gaza offensive.

An Israeli army spokeswoman said she was looking into information on the incident at al-Fakhora school in Jabalya refugee camp, on the fourth day of a ground assault launched after a week of air strikes failed to end Hamas rocket salvoes.

People cut down by shrapnel lay in pools of blood on the street. Witnesses said two Israeli tanks shells exploded outside the school, killing at least 40 civilians — Palestinians who had taken refuge there and residents of nearby buildings.

"I am not familiar with the news," Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni said, asked by reporters about incident.

"Unfortunately, (Hamas fighters) are hiding amongst civilians," she said, adding that Israel was trying to avoid civilian casualties.

In a separate incident earlier in the day, three Palestinians were killed in an air strike on another school run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency.

The deaths in Gaza, home to 1.5 million people, raised to 75 the number of Palestinian civilians killed on Tuesday alone, according to medical officials.

The spike in civilian casualties could prove to be a turning point in Israel's "Operation Cast Lead," launched on December 19 with the declared aim of removing the Hamas rocket threat.

The killing of dozens of unarmed Lebanese in Israel's bombing in the village of Qana in the 2006 Lebanon war drained foreign support for its campaign against Hezbollah guerrillas. Israel said it had not known civilians were in the area.

In Washington, State Department spokesman Sean McCormack said the United States would like to seen "an immediate ceasefire that is durable, sustainable and not time-limited."

International efforts already under way to end the fighting have focused on securing a truce deal that would meet Israel's demand that Hamas, an Islamist group in charge of the Gaza Strip, could not rearm once hostilities end.

"If there is an end to terror, an end to the smuggling of ammunition from Sinai to Gaza, the Israeli fighting will stop," Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said, referring to rockets and other weaponry Hamas obtains through tunnels under the Gaza-Egypt border.

In fighting on Tuesday, Israeli forces pushed into the southern town of Khan Younis and battled Hamas militants on the outskirts of the city of Gaza. Palestinian medical officials said four militants were killed.

According to the Palestinian Health Ministry in the Gaza Strip, at least 629 Palestinians have been killed and more than 2,700 wounded since Israel began its offensive.

Ten Israelis, including three civilians hit by rocket fire, have been killed in the conflict. At least five rockets landed in Israel on Tuesday, including one that hit the town of Gadera, 28 km (17 miles) from Tel Aviv. A three-year-old girl was wounded.

Those U.S. politicians that cater to the Israel demands have complicit5y in these atrocities. And by the same token, all U.S. citizens share part of the blame.

The Israel lobbies in the United States are so powerful that no politicians can oppose these brutal and deadly acts without being targeted for defeat and without being called anti-Semitic. So powerful are these groups that Americans are fed a daily barrage of support by media people and politician pundits, willing to subvert national interests for their own greed and self-interests.

Americans will continue to pay heavily for supplying Israel with the military weapons used to kill civilians in Gaza, in Lebanon, and in Palestine and for its brutal acts.

Here are some facts that Americans should consider, presented by a former airline captain who lived and worked in the Middle East many years ago, at a time when Arabs and Iranians were friends of America:

• The missile firings by Hamas into Israel are due to the frustration of not only the invasion and occupation that occurred since 1967, but the brutal killing by Israel of Arabs in the occupied territory, in Gaza, and in Lebanon. They seek to regain the seized land, in acts that surely are David vs. Goliath in nature.
   
• Israel's response to these rarely fatal missile attacks by killing hundreds of innocent civilians, increases the desire to kill Americans, and fuels the growth of what are called terrorists whose anger is fueled by America's arming, funding, and encouragement of these acts. including 
   
• Israel's deadly response to the missile firings would be similar to the United States bombing and killings thousands of Mexicans. Actually, thousands of people in Mexico are doing far greater harm upon the people of the United States, and national security, by another form of  so-called "terrorism." The drug smuggling into the United States, and thousands of murders a year by Mexican drug cartels in Mexico and the United States. And who funds these brutal crimes? The American drug users who financially support the murderous drug smugglers!
   
• Hamas' anger is similar to what courageous Americans would do if another country, for instance, Mexico, were to invade and occupy parts of the United States, and brutalize the people in the occupied land, as Israel has done since 1967.
   
• Hamas' anger is fueled by the phony efforts by U.S. politicians claiming to seek a solution to Israel's occupation, recognizing the talks as phony as Israel continues to build settlements in the occupied territory (that they obviously have no intention of giving up).
   
• The one-sided military buildup of Israel by the United States, furnishing military weapons and money that are knowingly used against Arabs who are fighting Israel’s invasion of Arab land in 1967 and the subsequent brutal occupation by Israel. This policy formed the birth of the continuing increasing in people wanting to harm the United States. The United States call these people terrorists, for seeking to halt the brutal occupation by Israel. The hijackings of four airliners on September 11, 2001, were a ripple effect from the United States aiding and abetting Israel's brutal occupation and killing of thousands of innocent civilians in Palestine, Gaza, and Lebanon.
