Massive Failure by Regulators to Act on Evidence of Endemic Frauds in the Housing and Financial Sectors is a Standard Trait

As this writer has discovered and documented during the past 40 years, it is standard for regulators to do nothing when evidence of fraud—even when associated with continuing tragic consequences—is discovered or brought to their attention.

This writer first discovered and documented it in the 1960s while he held the hands on responsibility in an aviation sector where the world's worst series of airline disasters were occurring, something that lasted for about 30 years. During this time many preventable airline disasters occurred, and many people died a brutal death. As dozens of other insiders contacted this writer during the past 20 years, he discovered the same cover-up or do-nothing trait in other areas. As examples:

• Massive drug smuggling into the United States by CIA assets and Israel's Massod, landing at military bases and at DEA facilities, these matters were ignored and covered up by members of Congress, Department of Justice personnel, and others. The consequences have been thousands of drug-related killings, and drug-related imprisonment of thousands more. This is detailed in the book, Drugging America.

The public had been repeatedly made aware of these crimes by insiders writing books and appearing on radio and television. And as usual, virtually none had the courage to show any outrage.
