Is This Really the Intelligence Level of Many Americans!

Michael Jackson died on June 25, 2009. For days on end, almost every television station and almost every political pundit focused on his death. On July 11, 2009. CNN television had a steady stream of viewings referring to Michal Jackson as a hero!
A pedophile, in gyrations similar to someone high on drugs, a hero!!

Time magazine had its idol on the cover, Sarah Palin, while millions kept praising her as presidential material, totally oblivious with the immaturity of the woman and the high level of experience and judgment required of that office.

Is it that media people want to dumb down the American people to idiot status, or is a major segment of the population already there!!

Apparently oblivious to them−and their audience−oblivious of such important matters as:

• The implosion of Iraq with the departure of U.S. troops. U.S. politicians, with the support of many Americans, invaded the country, destabilized one of the most westernized nation in the Middle East, and resulted in a reported over 1 million dead Iraqis.
• Sending Americans to Afghanistan to fight an unwinnable war, killing thousands of innocent Afghans from bombings by high-flying aircraft, or drone operators safely in the United States.
• The worst financial debacles since the Great Depression−or worse−with massive fraud throughout the housing and financial sectors, enabled by bribe-taking members of Congress, all still in key positions.
• Ignoring information on the corrupt activities of many people in government, including the cover-ups by Department of Justice employees.
• Ignoring the murderous culture of FBI agents, and how these murders played a key role in 3,500 deaths in subsequent terrorist attacks.
• Ignoring the corruption of people in the FBI-DOJ that covered up for advance knowledge obtained from within a key al Qaeda cell of several major terrorist attacks that did occur, which by the cover-ups enabled 3,500 people to be killed.

Obsessed with stories about Michael Jackson, Anna Nicole Smith, Britney Spears, sports, blissfully uninterested in learning about the facts that requires reading efforts, this is America today. Obsessed with an entertainer that appeared as if he were on LSD or some other drug, the decadence of the newer generation of Americans makes the nation well on its way to self-destruction.
