Multiple Systemic Intelligence Failures
Compounded by Systematic Corruption

The presence of the underwear bomber on Northwest Airlines flight 253 on December 25, 2009, was widely blamed on multiple intelligence failures. The facts kept from the public indicate that the multiple systemic intelligence failures were compounded by far more serious problems: multiple systemic corruption.

Information on the corruption aspects aiding the terrorists, for which considerable evidence exists, includes, for instance:

• FBI-DOJ personnel cover ups and criminal acts related to the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie (December 21, 1988) that aided the continuation of successful aviation terrorist attacks. For instance;
   
  • Covering up for the actual terrorists based in Syria―for political purposes. Syria's help was needed as the United States attacked Iraq in August 1990. (Details in Unfriendly Skies: 20th & 21st Centuries)
     
  • FBI personnel planting evidence (thumb-size timer device) six months after the event,  that was purchased from a former employee of the device maker.
     
  • Paying the supplier of the thumb-size timer for the device and to falsely testify.
     
  • FBI personnel paying a shop keeper to change his testimony and testify as to the purchaser of clothes allegedly found in the suitcase containing the bomb.
     
  • FBI-Scottish personnel threatening to charge another person with conspiracy in the crime if that person testified truthfully, and thereby undermine the lies used to charge an innocent Libyan.
     
  • Falsely charging an innocent Libyan with placing the bomb on PAA Flight 103, using the planted evidence, payment for perjured testimony, and threats against another witness.
     
  • In October 2009, as an appeal was about to be heard in the conviction of the innocent Libyan, where the evidence of this misconduct would be made public, a deal was made  wherein the imprisoned Libyan would be released if he dropped the appeal. In this way, the truth would not officially surface. If the wrongful conviction had not occurred due to the deliberate misconduct by DOJ and Scottish prosecutors, they would have welcomed the evidence in the appeal to identify the actual people responsible for the bomb and the 270 murdered people on the flight. Instead, the goal was to block the appeal and cover up for their misconduct.
     
  • British media had been releasing the evidence in numerous articles―while U.S. media kept the lid on the scandal.
     
  • In this way, the actual terrorists were protected and a culture of criminal conduct was continued in the FBI-DOJ, which surfaced in several other major terrorist successes, including 9/11.
     
• FBI-DOJ withholding of advance information on several planned terrorist attacks―that did subsequently occur―with major consequences for the United States. The advance information was coming from a mole inside the al  Qaeda cell headed by Ramzi Yousef, the mastermind behind the 1993 World Trade Center Bombing and the planned simultaneously bombing of 12 U.S. airlines departing Far East locations. The mole was a former member of the Colombo Mafia family in New York City.
   
• The mole provided the information on the planned terrorist attacks on a regular based to local FBI agents who considered the information reliable. However, high level DOJ personnel in Washington had planned to discredit the mole in several pending criminal trials where the mole was to testify about serial murders perpetrated by his father, known as "The Killing Machine," with the help of a key FBI supervisor in the New York offices.  To have made the advance information on the terrorist attacks known to other government entities would have subverted the scheme to discredit him the mole.
   
• The forewarned terrorist attacks then did occur, resulting in 4,000 deaths.
   
• The terrorists attacks for which advance information was obtained by the mole, and given to FBI personnel, included the downing of TWA Flight 800; the bombings of the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, and then hijackings of U.S. airliners.
   
• The significance of the actions by high level DOJ personnel covering up for serial murders involving one of their own:
   
  • FBI-DOJ personnel engaged in criminal obstruction of justice by protecting the supervisor and planning a scheme to corruptly discredit a witness―constituting multiple criminal act.
     
  • FBI-DOJ personnel made possible the deaths of 4,000 people in the forewarned terrorist attacks by their criminal acts.
     
  • FBI-DOJ personnel became complicit in events that led to the U.S. invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan, the hundreds of thousands of deaths, including the deaths and maiming of U.S. military personnel, and an endless number of other harmful consequences.
     
  • Set in motion the greatest buildup in the world's history of people wanting to kill Americans,  a confrontation that the U.S. cannot win, partly because of the hatred generated by the policies of U.S. politicians and the killing of thousands of innocent Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan.
     
• Additional indication of the culture of FBI-DOJ personnel is the practice of filing false charges against present and former government agents exposing high-level corruption in government. This practice enabled great harm to continued, including terrorist attacks and other harm described in not-for-profit books written by insiders.
   
• Years of continuing attacks by DOJ personnel and people working with them to silence former federal agent Rodney Stich and his coalition of other government agents and insiders. People and groups working in unison with DOJ personnel included over 50 lawyers and law firms; California judges; and federal judges.
   
• Assisting in the conditions enabling the easy hijackings of four airliner on 9/l11 were the incompetence, indifference, and actual criminal conduct of certain key people in the FAA, the primary government entity with responsibility for preventing the actual hijackings and other terrorist attacks on airliners.
   
• Further becoming criminally involved were the many people who knew of these conditions and who covered up, constituting the crimes of obstruction of justice and accessory after the fact. This group includes, for instance, many members of Congress, media people, and others.

Because of the severity of these criminal activities, the many resulting deaths, and the people and groups in government implicated, these matters are unlikely to ever become known to the public.
