Would Americans be called terrorists if they fought against invaders?

Using U.S. Politicians' Reasoning to Call Americans Terrorists
If Mexico invaded and occupied Texas, murdered some Texans, drove Texans from their homes and built Mexican settlement on the occupied land—using the reasoning of U.S. politicians—those Americans with the courage to fight the invading Mexicans would be called terrorists.
Ck Afghanistan and Iraq as two of a dozen examples. While you're at it, check the Isreali lobby to help understand one of the primary reasons why so many people want to kill Americans for the last 40 years.
How about a country that attacks innocent countries with high tech weaponry, killing millions of civilians, and destroying whole cities? Isn't that terrorism? We're racist for wanting to protect our borders. And by advertising amnesty, the criminals and terrorists are lining up.
