Bullying by U.S. Politicians Threatening War in Korean Crisis

Korean Crisis Issues and Provocations
Withheld by U.S. Media

Most of the U.S. media is again giving the American people a slanted view of the crisis off the coast of North Korea. By withholding the needless provocations, U.S. politicians are again threatening to subject the American people to needless wars. Here are some of the facts an informed American public should know:

  • North Korea sent shells onto the South Korea-occupied Yeonpyeong Island, off the coast of North Korea, objecting to the practice of military maneuvers being conduct in that area by South Korea and the United States and which North Korea considered a invasion of its territory.
  • The territorial lines of South Korea were drawn in 1953 at the end of hostilities after U.S. politicians intruded into the internal dispute between North and South Korea and invaded North Korea. Instead of drawing the offshore territorial line at right angle from shore, unlike other nations and its own, the United States drew the territorial line on the west side in a line curving to the north, along the west coast of North Korea. By doing that, several islands that should be in North Korea territorial waters were now claimed to belong to South Korea. That was done without North Korea's approval.

  • Imagine a similar situation in the United States if, for instance, U.S. and Mexico had been at war and Mexico claimed as its territory a curved line from Juarez near San Diego going north along the west coast of the United States, with Mexico claiming Catalina and other islands off the coast of the United States as part of Mexico's sovereign land. And then for Mexico to conduct military exercises with another foreign country, China for instance, at those islands.

  • This is the type of bully provocation that has been the history of the United States that has embroiled the world in either outright wars or Cold War with the Soviet Union.

  • If war was to start between North and South Korea, it could conceivably involve China, and with the bullying history of acts by U.S. politicians, that could result in a nuclear conflict. At the very least, huge casualties by U.S. personnel.

  • Making this scenario even scarier, consider a complex international conflict with someone like Sarah Palin as president, making decisions that could easily result in thousands of Russian nuclear missiles devastating almost the entire United States.

  • Don't laugh as being too ridiculous; reports state that almost half the American public considers her to be presidential material, a nightmare promoted by American pundits!

  • U.S. meddling in the internal affairs of Korea, resulting in U.S. politicians sending U.S. personnel to die, and where over 38,000 Americans perished.
  • Although North Korea is certainly no innocent party, it has a right to resent the history of U.S. meddling that left a million Koreans dead.

Solution to the immediate Crisis:

  • Correct the major provocation and bullying of the US and South Korea by changing the disputed sea boundary to extend at right angles outward from the border between North and South Korea.

  • This doesn't change the fact that North Korea has nuclear weapons, but eliminates the immediate provocation.

Sampling of one-sided provocation and bullying by the United States:

  • U.S. flying surveillance flights closely offshore from China. It would be like China flying military surveillance flights off the east coast of the United States.

  •  U.S. placing missiles along the borders of the Soviet Union, and then threatening nuclear war when Cuba was about to have several Soviet Union missiles.

  • History of subverting foreign countries.

Additional comment added:

Within three hours of posting this blog, an e-mail message arrived from a key American official in South Korea stating:

"Sir, Thank you for the truth, at last. The South Koreans here are angry at their own government also. But are afraid of being imprisoned if they demonstrate against it. Even the islanders on THAT island [that was shelled by North Korea] are AGAINST IT. America is playing with fire. Quiet today except for the usual Dirty Chemtrails."
