Homosexuals Openly in Military: Speculation As to Outcome

Food-for-Thought Comments on the
Openly Gay Policy in the Military

The following information is provided to expand on information published elsewhere, and no position is taken one way or the other at this posting. This posting is being made by a former Navy person who has first hand knowledge of personal living conditions in that military organization. These are food-for-thought comments on the repeal by politicians of the Don't Ask Don't Tell Policy. This person takes no  position on whether the decision was wise or not, and simply presents some facts this changed policy forced upon the military by U.S. politicians.

As President Barack Obama signed the legislation into law permitting homosexuals to openly serve in the military stated, "This is an historic day. ... The law will strengthen our national security and uphold the ideals our fighting men and women defend. No longer will thousands of men and women in uniform be asked to live a lie or look over their shoulder while serving the country they love. As commander in chief, I am also absolutely convinced that making this change will only underscore the professionalism of our troops as the best led and best trained fighting force the world has ever known."

Senator John McCain, on the other hand, who served in, the U.S. Navy, warned of serious consequences, as he stated after the legislation was passed permitting homosexuals to serve openly in the military: "Today is a very sad day.  They'll do what is asked of them, but don't think there won't be a great cost."

A non-political military veteran, Gen. James Amos, the commandant of the Marines, agreed with McCain, stating:  "The forces that wear this uniform, that are in the middle of what I call the real deal, came back and told their commandant of the Marine Corps they have concerns. That's all I need. I don't need a staff study. I don't need to hire three PhDs to tell me what to interpret it," he said. "If they have concerns, I do, too. It's as simple as that."

Which Group Will Be Correct in this Social Engineering:
Politicians or Non-Political Military Veterans?

Which of the two widely contradictory positions would serve to be correct?  The following are a sampling of statements that have been made about homosexuals, which may indicate how this social engineering will develop:

The Department of Defense issued a 1982 policy (DOD Directive 1332.14) stating that homosexuality was clearly incompatible with military service. The policy garnered public scrutiny through the 1980s and 1990s, and it became a political issue in the 1992 U.S. presidential election with Bill Clinton and others citing the brutal murder of gay Navy petty officer Allen R. Schindler, Jr.

After Bill Clinton won the presidency, Congress rushed to enact the existing gay ban policy into federal law, outflanking Clinton's planned repeal effort. Clinton called for legislation to overturn the ban, but it encountered intense scrutiny by the Joint Chiefs of Staff, members of Congress, and portions of the public. DADT emerged as a compromise policy.

Citing a letter signed by "over one thousand former general and flag officers who have weighed in on this issue," Senator John McCain of Arizona claimed that "we should pay attention and benefit from the experience and knowledge" of these officers. At the February 2, 2010 congressional hearing of Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen and Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, McCain read directly from the letter, saying "We firmly believe that this law, which Congress passed to protect good order, discipline and morale in the unique environment of the armed forces deserves continued support." (More information at  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don't_ask,_don't_tell.)

(CNSNews.com) - 66.5 percent of U.S. Marine combat forces surveyed by a special Defense Department working group said that putting homosexuals in their units would hurt their effectiveness in the field, and 47.8 percent of Marines in combat units specifically said putting homosexuals in their units would hurt their effectiveness “in an intense combat situation.

Last week, before Congress voted to lift the ban on homosexuals in the military, Gen. James Amos, the commandant of the Marines, told reporters that he opposed lifting the ban because of what he had heard from Marines about it. "The forces that wear this uniform, that are in the middle of what I call the real deal, came back and told their commandant of the Marine Corps they have concerns," Gen. Amos told the reporters. "That's all I need. I don't need a staff study. I don't need to hire three PhDs to tell me what to interpret it," he said. "If they have concerns, I do, too. It's as simple as that."

Gen. Amos said the distraction of having homosexuals in the ranks could cost Marines their lives. “Mistakes and inattention or distractions cost Marines lives. That’s the currency of this fight,” said Gen. Amos. “I don’t want to lose any Marines to the distraction. I don’t want to have any Marines that I’m visiting at Bethesda [National Naval Medical Center] with no legs be the result of any type of distraction.

Information To Be Considered in Estimating The
Outcome of Open Homosexuals in the Military

  • Navy personnel are in close quarters 24 hours a day and seven days a week, and in submarines, this proximity is often a breath away.

  • With the obvious strong sexual urge of the age group that is in the military, the presence of women in the case of heterosexuals and the presence of men in the case of homosexuals, will the sometimes irresistible urge for sex now cease to occur?

  • Many homosexuals, especially young homosexuals, as exists in the military, have strong sexual drives, and this strong desire will be surely tested in the close 24-hour-a-day proximity in the military.

  • Is placing sexual active homosexuals in close 24-hour a day proximity to hundreds of sexual partners any different than having male and female military personnel sharing the same living quarters, showers and baths, and not engaging in sexual relations in military environment?

  • It is not common for many homosexuals to have several sexual partners a day, and have sex with total strangers, including public toilet areas. Will that practice now cease with so many potential sexual targets available?

  • The lack of restraint by homosexuals has also been shown by the thousands of criminal sexual acts worldwide by Catholic priests, by members of Congress seeking sex with strangers in adjoining public toilets, etc.?

  • How will homosexuals with a strong sexual drive surrounded by hundreds of potential willing and unwilling sexual partners react?

  • If they do engage in sex in the confined military environment, as they surely will, will the sexual practice of anal sex or other conduct be repulsive to others?

  • Will violence occur, and will the combat readiness of the military readiness be seriously eroded?

  • How will non-homosexuals military personnel react to viewing or knowing of sexual activities occurring in their midst?
  • With the nation obsessed with sex, and the endless repetition of television ads for Viagra and other sexual stimulating pharmaceuticals, can it be expected that the homosexual activities that take place at homosexual gatherings and elsewhere will not be repeated in the close confines of the military?

Sampling of articles written by researchers on the conduct of many homosexuals:

  • The Depraved Excesses of Homosexual Lifestyles, © O. R. Adams Jr., 2009.

  • Wikipedia report on homosexual offenses listing over 4,000 homosexual priests and deacons and church hierarchy, just in the United States, that had been exposed with committing thousands of sexual crimes. The report and media reports showed the homosexual crimes by priests to have been exposed in numerous countries and continents, including the United States, Ireland, numerous countries in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Latin America, and Asia.

Homosexual In Congress and the White House

Columnist Maureen Dowd described in one of her articles (February 18, 2005) how press reports promoted the homosexual life style and contributor to homosexual magazines promoting homosexual encounters

In her usual clever down-to-earth description of the problem with the White House approving a male stud, (i.e. prostitute) for daily White House briefings, Maureen Dowd stated in one of her articles: (February 18, 2005)

How often does an enterprising young man, heralded in press reports as both a reporter and a contributor to Hotmilitarystud.com, Militaryescorts.com, Military escortsM4M.com, Workingboys.net and Meetlocalmen.com, get to question the president of the United States.

Who knew that a hot military stud wanted to meet local men could so easily get to be face to face with the commander in chief. It’s hard to believe the White House could hit rock bottom on credibility again, but it has, in a bizarre maelstrom that plays like a dark comedy. How does it credential a man with a double life and secret past?

“Jeff Gannon” was waved into the press room nearly every day for two years as the correspondent for two political Web sites operated by a  wealthy Texas Republican. Scott McClellan often called on the pseudo-reporter for softball questions.

Howard Kurtz reported in the Washington Post Wednesday that although Guckert denied launching the provocative Web sites—one described him as “military, muscular, masculine and discrete(sic)”—“a Web designed in California said Wednesday that he had designed a gay escort site for Gannon and had posted naked pictures of Gannon at the client’s requests.”

I’m still mystified by this story. I was rejected for a White House press pass at the start of the Bush administration, but someone with an alias, a tax-evasion problem and Internet pictures where he posed like the “Barberini Faun” is credentialed to cover a White House that won a second term by mining homophobia and preaching family values?

In an era when security concerns are paramount, what kind of Secret Service background check did James Guckert get so he could saunter into the West Wing every day under an assumed name while he was doing full-frontal advertising for stud services for $1,200 a weekend? He used a driver’s license that said James Guckeert to get into the White House and, once inside, switched to his alter ego, asking questions as Jeff Gannon.

Does the Bush team love everything military so much that even a military-stud Web site is a recommendation? Or maybe Gannon-Guckert’s willingness to shill free for the White House, even on gay issues, was endearing.

At last month ‘s press conference, “Jeff Gannon” asked Bush how he could work with Democrats “who seem to have divorced themselves from reality.” But Bush officials have divorced themselves from reality

They switched TVs in the West Wing and Air Force One to Fox News. They paid conservative columnists handsomely to promote administration programs. Federal agencies distributed packaged “news” video releases with faux anchors so local news out lets would run them. As CNN re ported, the Pentagon produces Web sites with “news” articles intended to influence opinion abroad and at home, but you have to look hard for the disclaimer: “Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Defense” Even the Nixon White House didn’t do anything this creepy. Its worse than hating the press.  It ‘s an attempt to reinvent it.

Absence of Restraint

Homosexual Stud Service by homosexual Jeff Gannon out of homosexual Congressman Barney Frank congressional office doesn't say much for restraint by these two homosexuals. Pictures of White House reporter Jeff Gannon, including nudes.

Thousands of Sex Crimes by
Homosexual Priests in the Catholic Churches

Typical of this protection of hundreds of victims of thousands of homosexual crimes was a New York Times article (December 18, 2010) titled, "A Monsignor Is Defrocked For Abusing A Student."

Another article the same day in the New York Times (December 18, 2010), titled, "Vatican Shielded Dublin Priest Until He Raped Boy in Pub, Inquiry Say,"  stated in part:

Dublin (AP)— The Vatican tried to stop church leaders here from defrocking a particularly dangerous pedophile priest and relented only after he raped a boy in a restroom at a pub, according to an investigation released Friday. A state-ordered investigation into cover-ups by the Dublin Archdiocese reported last year that church officials had shielded scores of priests from criminal investigation over several decades and did not report any crimes to the police until the mid-1990s.

A chapter dealing with ... Tony Walsh was published Friday, after Mr. Walsh's conviction on Dec. 6 for raping three boys over a five-year period three decades ago. He got a 12-year prison term. The investigators concluded that Mr. Walsh raped and molested hundreds of boys and girls while serving as a priest in Dublin from 1978 to 1996.

Hundreds of mass criminal sexual acts have been reported by the media over the years involving massive criminal sexual acts by homosexuals in the United States and Europe. Rarely were either the perpetrators, or other members of the Catholic Church involved in the criminal obstruction of justice ever prosecuted.

Even though the thousands of sexual crimes were perpetrated year after year, and criminally involved virtually every Catholic priest and higher levels. and constituted, according to law, one of the world's most extensive group of criminal acts on record, being sexual crimes by homosexuals against the vulnerable. Yet, media people reacted first with cover-ups, and then by declaring the vicious crimes to be "abuses.!"

The millions of Catholic worshipers that flocked to the Catholic Churches showed virtually no reaction, but were strongly in support of putting people in prison and labeling them for life sexual criminals for having downloaded pictures of children in improper poses!

Media personnel and media corporations had been years late in reporting what they knew to exist, and only started reporting the crimes after dozens of lawsuits made ignoring the crimes possible. And when they did report them, the word crime or criminal was virtually never used. The kind words, "abuse," "abusive," or "abusing," were politely used instead of "crimes" or "criminal,"

ADDITIONAL SAMPLING OF MEDIA ARTICLES RELATED TO HOMOSEXUALS:

Texas — Wanna talk about one evil prick? Check this out. A Catholic priest out on bond on charges he sexually abused a teen boy has now been charged with attempting to hire someone to kill the teen. Rev. John M. Fiala, 52, met the teen back in 2007, often visiting him at his grandparent’s house. Authorities say he initially groomed the teen with gifts like a cell phone, MP3 player, and even cash for a car. In 2008 during a trip to a youth event, Fiala raped the teen at gunpoint in a motel room. Fiala then began abusing the teen twice a month, sometimes on church grounds, under the guise of private catechism lessons. Even though the boy was in his late teens, Fiala would keep him submissive and silent by threatening to harm his family or his girlfriend if he told anyone. He would repeat these threats with daily text messages where Fiala would also threaten to kill him and himself so they would go to heaven together. The teen finally had enough and told a school counselor about the abuse he was suffering and Fiala was eventually arrested and indicted on three counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child and one count of aggravated sexual assault by threat. He posted bail in September.

While out, a neighbor of his contacted police claiming Fiala had offered him $5,000 to get rid of his problems by killing the teen, now 18-years-old. A sting was set up by The Department of Public Safety and its Texas Ranger Division who sent a undercover agent to speak with Fiala. They captured Fiala, on video and audiotape, offering the agent money to kill the teenager. Fiala was arrested and had one count of criminal solicitation to commit capital murder added to his list of charges. He was placed back in jail on $700,000 bond. Good luck in prison, Fiala, I’m sure your new neighbors are just gonna love you to death.

The teen and his family have also filed a lawsuit against Fiala as well as the archdioceses of San Antonio, Texas, and Omaha, Nebraska and Fiala’s religious order, the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity, claiming they should have known what a danger Fiala was and accuses them of covering up his abuse. “He’s a dangerous predator and has been since at least 1988,” said Tom Rhodes, the teen’s attorney. “The church has known how dangerous this guy is for many, many years. They had full knowledge, we believe, and the documents seem to bear that out — that they knew what a bad person he was and what a danger he was to children.”
