U.S. Politicans and 40 years of horror for Afghans

Little-Known Insider Information On U.S.
Complicity in Afghanistan's 40-year Legacy of Wars

Years earlier, former federal agent Rodney Stich wrote in his book, Defrauding America, about how decisions by U.S. politicians carried out by CIA personnel turned Afghanistan from a westernized developing nation into a land of continual war and deaths. Former CIA agent Gunther Russbacher described during a question and answer telephone conversation how, when he was in Afghanistan, the CIA  was arming and funding Islamic rebels fighting the present ruler who was seeking to bring the nation into the 20th Century, and was setting help from the Soviet Union.

In desperation, the Afghan ruler requested Soviet troops to defend against the U.S. armed rebel attacks. Then, when the Soviets provided the military help to defend against the Islamist rebels, the United States then armed others to fight the Soviets. That in turn enabled the Islamic rebels to succeed, the Soviets withdrew, and the westernizing government fell.

Then, the people the United States armed to fight the Soviets, including Osama bin Laden, turned their anger towards the United States.

U.S. bungling never ends. After the 9/11 hijackings, the United States then waged war against Afghanistan, which in 2011was in its tenth year. Afghanistan's government had nothing to do with the 9/11 hijackers, other than some al Qaeda members lived in the remote mountainous areas of the nation. The Afghan Taliban government offered to turn the al Qaeda members over to a third nation to stand trial—as was done with the alleged Pan Am Flight 103 bombers. President George Bush (Jr.) turned down this offer and started a war that had killed and maimed tens of thousands and helped to place the United States into the tragic financial shape it is in today.

Even worse, the primary enablers of 9/11hijackers were people in the United States in key positions controlling the lives of the American people. See www.defraudingamerica.com/911_enablers.html, and www.defraudingamerica.com/911_blame_comparison.html.
