Another in Series of Hoaxes Concerning
Actual Perpetrators in Pan Am 103 Bombing

In vetting the American public's support for murdering Iraqis, President George Bush (Jr.) used an Iraqi defector known as "Curveball" (Rafid Ahmed Alwan al-Janabi) to provide a lie to seek support for the invasion of Iraq. In March 2011, American politicians used the lies of a Libyan dissident to cover up for the U.S. fraud behind the investigation and prosecution of the Pan Am Flight 103 bombing over Lockerbie. In an earlier similar scheme, President George Bush (Jr.) and his shills used the lies of an Iraqi defector identified by the codename, Curveball, to help gain support for invading Iraq. That false information formed the cornerstone of former US secretary of state Colin Powell's key address to the United Nations on February 5, 2003.

In this latest scheme that was easily swallowed by the media-dumbed-down American public because of the protests in Libya, a Libyan defector, Abdeljalil, Kadhafi, claimed that Libyan dictator Moamer Kadhafi gave the order to bomb Pan Am Flight 103. The vast amount of evidence found in the book, Locke4rbie to 9/11: Massive Fraud and Consequences, and at the web site and its links, www.defraudingamerica.com/lockerbie_index.html totally puts a lie to that charge. However, politicians of three nations would prefer that the truth never be known: United States, Scotland, and Great Britain.

A report by the European news service, AFP, (March 3, 2011) headlined, "US lawmakers seek hand-over of Lockerbie bomber," stated:

WASHINGTON — The United States must make the extradition of the convicted Lockerbie bomber a condition for recognizing any new Libyan government that emerges from deadly strife there, US senators said Thursday. Lawmakers led by Democratic Senator Robert Menendez told reporters on a conference call that Abdelbaset Ali Mohmet al-Megrahi, now free in Libya, should be sent to the United States to serve out his original prison term.

"All of us here feel that if we get to the point of dealing with a new Libyan government, then bringing al-Megrahi to justice is a condition of officially recognizing that government," said Menendez.

Al-Megrahi was convicted in 2001 of the bombing of Pan AM Flight 103 over the Scottish town of Lockerbie on December 21, 1988 that killed 270 people, most of them Americans. But Scottish authorities, who have power over their own judicial affairs, released Megrahi, 58, on compassionate grounds in August 2009 after doctors said he was suffering from terminal cancer and had three months to live. His release and subsequent hero's welcome in Tripoli drew a furious response from many, and outrage in the United States has been stoked by the fact that he remains alive almost a year and a half after his release.

Democratic Senator Kirsten Gillibrand called al-Megrahi's release an "extraordinary miscarriage of justice" and stressed "we want al-Megrahi to be extradited back to the United States." US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton this week backed calls for a probe into the possible role of Libyan leader Moamer Kadhafi in the attack, amid an uprising against his decades-long rule. Swedish daily Expressen reported that Libya's former justice minister Mustapha Abdeljalil, after defecting to the opposition, told the newspaper that he has "proof that Kadhafi gave the order on Lockerbie."

According to Abdeljalil, Kadhafi "ordered Megrahi to do it (the bombing)," and had worked hard to secure his release to ensure that his role in the plot remained secret. "To hide it, he did everything in his power to get Megrahi back from Scotland," the former minister said. Menendez told reporters that "obviously, what we need to do is to have access to the former minister of justice so we could nail down how, why he is making those statements."

Menendez met Thursday with Ali Aujali—still seen by Washington as Libya's ambassador here despite being repudiated by Tripoli since he turned on Kadhafi —and "he said that the minister had said that to him as well." But the envoy did not corroborate the allegation, Menendez said.

Britain's Sunday Mirror article (March 3, 2011), addressing the same issue stated:

Barack Obama will ­demand the Lockerbie bomber as the price of supporting a new government in Libya. The US President says the deportation of freed Abdul Baset Ali al-Megrahi is a condition of him backing the rebels if they win power. Mr. Obama wants Megrahi to be tried in the States for putting a bomb on the New York-bound jet that blew up over Lockerbie, Scotland, in 1988, a crime for which he was convicted by a Scottish court. Cancer-stricken Megrahi has disappeared in Libya where he has been living after being released from jail because he supposedly had only months to live. Intelligence sources fear he has been taken into ruler Colonel Muhamar Gaddafi’s own compound and that Libyan leader would rather kill him than let his Lockerbie secrets be revealed. Megrahi is believed to know the full story of the bombing in which 270 died and can name everyone involved—including Gaddafi.

 

The Sunday Mirror understands that top US officials have held talks with rebel leaders and demanded Megrahi be handed over. US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton held a conference on Wednesday with FBI Director Robert Mueller and Attorney-General Eric Holder about how bring Megrahi and Gaddafi to justice. A Washington source said: “This is seen as a real chance to get hold of the bomber who killed 189 American citizens. “He may have spent a few years in a Scottish prison but in the eyes of the American people he has never faced justice. The US Justice Department said the indictment of Megrahi and another suspect remained pending and the investigation into the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 remains open.” Democratic Senator Robert Menendez said the deportation of al-Megrahi should be a condition of the US recognizing a new Libyan government.
