FBI announces that after 16 years they finally caught Whitey Bulger  (June  22, 2011). The two murdering FBI agents that committed murders with Bulger are only part of the story of FBI agents involved in murders with mobsters or Mafia figures. Even more incredible, with the evidence supporting this granddaddy of high level scandals with the worst ripple effects in the nation's history, most American will go back to their pacifiers, blissfully unconcerned about have been screwed as they have never before been screwed.

First, one excuse for the American public's pathetic indifference is the dumbing down of the public by U.S. media personnel and media corporations, and promotion of trivia to shift attention from matters that a democracy or a republic requi4res the public to know.

However, there is no excuse for the American public to:

• Ignore the facts and the evidence that have been made available to them by courageous corruption-reporting whistleblowers, all of whom have suffered greatly for their courage that is a rarity in the United States.
   
• Be so totally obsessed with trivia.
   
• Be so totally indifferent.
   
• Be cowardly when it comes to addressing the corruption of powerful people in government.
