• FBI documents showing the receipt of advance information of planned terrorist attacks by al Qaeda members. The advance information was obtained by former New York City Mafiosi Gregory Scarpa, Jr., during a period exceeding one year, as Scarpa was a mole in al Qaeda primary terrorist cell headed by Ramzi Yousef, the mastermind behind the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center.
   
• Taped telephone conversations between al Qaeda's master terrorist, Ramzi Yousef and al Qaeda members throughout the United States and foreign countries. This evidence covered an 11-month period when a fictitious Mafia corporation was set up in New York City, staffed by FBI personnel, wherein al Qaeda's Ramzi Yousef made numerous phone calls. This arrangement came about after Scarpa convinced Yousef that Scarpa's prior Mafia group was also interested in bringing down the government of the United States.
   
• The information periodically provided by Scarpa to local New York FBI agents was of such great importance that the fictitious Mafia corporation was established.  During the 11-month period that FBI agents were monitoring the phone calls between al Qaeda primary hands-on terrorist attacks, them monitored conversations between Yousef and al Qaeda members in the United States and overseas. • High level personnel in the U.S. Department of Justice deep-sixthed the momentous information about the planned terrorist attacks on several U.S. targets as part of a planned scheme to discredit the former Mafiosi, Gregory Scarpa, Jr. Scarpa was scheduled to provide sworn testimony at several criminal trials about the series of murders that his Mafia capo father, Gregory Scarpa, had committed with the help and suggestion of a key FBI supervisor. It was necessary to corruptly and criminally discredit the witness, Scarpa, Jr., to protect not only that FBI supervisor, but also other personnel in the U.S. Department of Justice that knew of the murderous activities and remained silent.
